Logan

Hugh Jackman’s final outing as Wolverine in “Logan” was by far the best of the Wolverine movies. In the near future, mutants are near extinction and the X-Men are no more. Logan, along with Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and Caliban (Stephen Merchant) are hiding out somewhere along the Mexican / U.S. border. Logan is no longer the picture of health and works as a chauffeur to make ends meet. He crosses paths with a woman who desperately needs his help getting a mysterious young girl (Dafne Keen) safely to the Canadian border. This of course sets off a relentless pursuit from the bad guys. This movie combines deep emotional story with high octane action. Everything a Wolverine movie should be. Not for the squeamish, there are some ultra violent moments, but if you know the character of Wolverine then you should expect that.

9 out of 10.
