I wasn’t going to bother posting this at first but then I figured that the point I was making to the anonymous person was quite valid and could be applied to any situation and not just the subject at hand in which they decided to post to me about. The internet can be a strange place and critical thinking is needed when navigating and knowing what to believe and what to dismiss.
Benedict Cumberbatch is a drug addict, who knew?
Oh dear sweet anon, what are you on about? Do you have facts and proof of your facts to back up your claim or did Chicken Little tell you that the sky was falling and you decided to go ahead and spread the word without looking for yourself to see if the sky was indeed falling or not. Lovely thing about the internet, it is chocked full of facts and knowledge for the world to devour and has about equal amounts of misinformation as well. I don’t like rumors, they can be vicious things. Amazing how people fall for them too. I’ve had my fair share of rumors spread about me in the past myself and it is amazing how people are more ready to accept a lie than the truth. Lost a few friends because they were too gullible. I do not know the man or anyone in his circle of friends and family personally, I wish I did since I find him to be brilliant and interesting. Then again maybe I do, this is the internet afterall and people can say pretty much anything.
